Effie Mihopoulos' poetry, over the last thirty years, has appeared in over 150 small press publications throughout the U.S., U.K., and the rest of Europe. Her poems, besides being taped on a number of Dial-a-Poem programs, have been broadcast on the radio in a number of cities, featured on poetry videos and set to music. Effie Mihopoulous is also an arts writer, and her reviews, articles and interviews have been in numerous publications, including Stagebill, The Chicago Reader, PerformInk, Small Press Review, Strong Coffee, and Letter eX. Her book of poems, The Moon Cycle, was adapted for the stage by Theatre Wyrzuc, and ran for 2 ½ months and 4 different venues in Chicago.
She has run a well-known small press called Ommation Press.She is the author of several books, including:
