Tuatha da D
Summary: WIP. Leon has a secret: one that will affect his little brother, one D is tryng to find out. What does the strange creature that keeps appearing in Leon's dreams have to do with it all?“That’s it! Riddle time with weird shifty animals and China-men in dresses is now officially over! If this is my ‘dream’ then I don’t want to deal with this. I’m going to sleep now.”
“You are asleep.”
“Yep, and if I can get some sleep right now then maybe I’ll actually be rested by the time I wake up.” The young officer was sitting down, even as he spoke.
“If it comforts you to think so, Mr. Detective,” was the kami’s encouraging response.
The blonde took off his shirt and scrunched it up under his head in a pillow of sorts. D was torn between wondering if he should be upset that the human felt that he could just ignore his presence, or if he should settle for being merely appreciative of the view provided. Before he could quite decide electric blue eyes snapped open, and Leon lurched back into a sitting position.
“Wait a minute! If this is my dream what the hell are you doing here?!”

Dangerous
Summary: It is unwise to meddle in the affairs of Count D. It is especially unwise to meddle with Leon Orcot. That stupid fishmarket vendor's words kept ringing in his head. Leon should've gotten his name. Then he'd know whose face he was mentally cussing out every time he pictured it. Along with D's, of course, and along with the image of a faceless man named Shi Dan Wu.
"Shi Dan Wu is courting Count D. He does not want you around."
Fucking A!
Well, what was Leon supposed to do? Go visit the pet shop out of pride? Get himself killed because of Count D -- worse, because everybody thought he and Count D were a thing? No. No way. Abso-fuckin'-lutely no WAY.
And it wasn't like he cared, he reminded himself.

Stakeout
Summary: Leon's on a stakeout and trying to get some actual police work done. Right. Rated for excessively foul language and general un-PCness (this is Leon after all). The Count shuddered, and then paused, a stray thought drifting through his mind.
"So can you take him?" Leon asked.
"Can I find a home for a cat who is used to living in garbage, and likes pizza and other takeaway foods which are very bad for him?" The Count asked out loud. "Why... yes, I can."
Leon beamed as the Count gently lifted the kitten out of the box. "Well, gotta be going," he said cheerfully. "Bye Travis." The Count and Travis saw him to the door.
"Oh Detective? I have something for you."
Leon turned just outside the door, and his jaw dropped as the Count dumped Travis into his unresisting hands.
"Here you go Detective," the Count said. "I never thought I could trust you with a pet, or find one that is suited to your habits, but clearly destiny has had a hand in this match. Enjoy your pet." The door closed firmly.
