body of fact

a stag beetle swallowed me whole
left my willows weeping
warbling in soul
sucked me in like
a cat's paw
squeezed my head like
a crustacean
spat me out like
a seed
stuck me hard
landed just right
there
on the wall like
a dart
my aim was
martyrdom
bullseye baby
smeared my heart across
his destination like
plum jelly
then scooped
me up like
some vulgar cousin of yours
