The Anna Murders
There was a girl named Anna
who murdered a girl named Anna
and another girl named Anna
for coming to her school
in possession of the name Anna.

She wanted to adopt them
but murdered them instead,
which is a pity
for they were relatively cool freshmen
but she had to
take a stand
claim her name
so she stabbed them each
in many places
with a sharpened spork
upon their first entrance to Trinity School
in September of 2002.

Both young Annas died,
but it did the elder Anna good.
She was reportedly
in hearty spirits
when they locked her up
in a juvenile detention center for girls.

When she got there,
there was already an Anna-in-residence,
who did not like to hear
that there would be a second Anna
coming.

When sophomore Anna
first came to the detention center
she was given her checks,
briefed with the laws of the land,
and then escorted to the cafeteria
to sit amongst the female juvenile delinquents
those criminals of youth.

Delinquent Anna greeted her
by asking her name,
and when she knew the reply
she welcomed her
by pulling out a real live
squawking, crowing
red fluffy Rooster
from her lap under the table,
and she shoved it hard into
our Anna’s throat,
who choked
and died by rooster,
murdered by a fellow Anna.

This is the story of The Anna Murders.

Hence, if your name is Anna
you should change it
or never blow up spot
or always be the first to know the next Anna that you must kill to secure
your individuality.
