Spider Nest Taking apart pieces of wood
removing nails
hammering the to bits
we're destructing them so we can build something else.

As two pieces are separated,
a world is revealed
a spider has laid eggs in a webbing
between the woods.
The nest teems with miniature spiders
whose shelter we have removed
their lives are ruined
because of our construction
So one of us
hammers them out of his way
and finishes up the job of splitting wood.

The spiders were nothing more than a distraction to him
we were nothing short of an apocalypse to the spiders.
