I like trees
When you stare at a multitude of them
Accompanied by the breeze
The sight is truly fascinating
One strong trunk
Holding uniquely shaped branches
That stem out
Like streams from rivers
And, the best part...
The branches hold the leaves!
Thousands of leaves!
Some times a bright green
Others a warm orange, brown or red
And they each rustle
Their very own way
Trees hold
Waves of independent beauty
So I like trees
they are so alive
much more so than the people who destroy them
So I hug them
