Being single is overrated.
Because love is fake
but I love it so much.
Orgies are overrated,
because sex in excess
will become numb,
and the act of love should never feel ordinary.
Masturbation is overrated,
because although it relieves you of desire
it feels like failure,
and although it is libidinous
it’s so lonely.
Eyesight is overrated
because being blind to love
feels so good,
but bliss is overrated
because it makes you so damn ignorant.
The way I’m going,
soon I’ll be saying life is overrated,
so I’ll quit the cynicism
because I know
life is the greatest thing
the only thing
and no moment is as empty as death
but no moment is full enough
until I reach the sky.
