Happy lichens!
I wouldn’t be happy
if I was a dry piece of moss
stuck to a rock!
I want to be wet
and vibrantly green
and coexist with trees
beautiful trees
I will be moss
while them lichens
will thirst in desiccation
and yearn for a softer habitat than a rock
one that lives a little
ha! Lichens aren’t happy
they are thirsty and bored
unlike the moss
