Freshman Area The segregated freshmen area
over there are sheep conforming to the herd
and social-climbing mountain goats
possessing so much stereotype
and pride in their prototype
but to their side is a wonderful land
where I, the platypus, pass my time
with funny-looking rainbow-assed baboons
and rebellious ostriches who squawk at the moon
and secretive armadillos with so much to hide
we are not dejected to be rejected to our side
and anyone is welcome to join in on the ride
if you don’t conform and you don’t climb
we can all have a trippin’ time
