Dark Alienated Introvert I like to go to important social events
where all the clique-y people are having fun
chatting, dancing just screwing around.
I like to go
and alienate myself
put on my headphones and lose myself in the music
get out my poetry book
and write disparagingly of my surroundings.
And I wear black
always black
so I look dark
and scary
I frighten them.
Aren't you scared of the dark alienated introvert?
Scared he's gonna come into school and shoot you?
call the FBI to spy on me?
I don't want to kill you
I just want to laugh at you
I don't hate you
I just feel sorry for you
