Caffeine
it does to my body
like cars
run through the veins of the city
motors humming
wheels sifting through the cement
over the cement
a buzz laments
them
only I repent them,
The addiction of caffeine,
the pollution the oil
fueled by green
greed boils
the pedestrian toils
to make a path through tha jungle
with dull machete
Regret: he does not forget
the days of old
when the world was uncurled
the people not so cold
but now they drive
so economy can thrive.
