My hands have an annoying tendency
to turn blue
when I handle my poetry notebook,
for I have decked it in blue marker
to celebrate the marble
and now everybody thinks
I spank smurfs.
But listen up motherfuckers!
It’s not my fault
Poppa Smurf flaunts
like that,
always strutting bout like a stork
in his fishnet thong!
What am I to do but
spank him,
if not just as a punitive measure!
