Pork Chops Oriental with Peppers

Serves 4--6
Pork Chops Oriental with Peppers First make some Teriaki sauce
& set aside
(or use bottled Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade)
Best sauce
(if you have all ingredients)
Original Recipe Yield1 2/3 cups
Ingredients:
2/3 cup mirin (Japanese sweet rice wine)
1 cup soy sauce
4 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/3 cup white sugar
7 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 dash red pepper flakes
Add 2-3 tlbs. cornstarch or flour into
1/2 cup water for thickening

Dottie's recipe( improvised recipe
to suit your regular spices available)
1 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup white sugar
41/2 teaspoons of vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil(optional)
1 tbls. minced garlic or
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
or minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger
1/2 teaspoon of hot sauce
or dash of pepper flakes
Add 2-3 tlbs. cornstarch or flour into
1/2 cup water for thickening

Place 3-6 pork chops in a large baking pan
Sprayed with cooking spray.
Sprinkle garlic powder and onion powder on chops
lightly sprinkle Tony Chaherrie's powder
on top of the pork chops
Cuit up all peppers and onion and place on top of chops.
Bake for 30 minutes on 375 degress oven.
Drain all liquid and grease from the pan
Now add the Tereaki sauce to the pan.
Bake another 15-20 minutes on a 350 degree oven
Remove and serve with rice or fried rice.
Suggestion :
and corn on the cob.
