I Remember

I remember tender touches,
As your hands brushed back my hair.
How strange I never realized til now,
The comfort I found there.

I remember soft caresses,
When my world was torn apart.
And the stength that seemed to flow,
From your warm hands into my heart.

I remember your broad shoulders,
And the burdens life placed there.
Though your face never reflected,
The sorrow hidden there.

I remember all the precious things,
Mere words cannot convey.
Each remains in the
locket of my heart,
Safely tucked away.
