 | Late Work
 | Late work will be accepted no more than one day late and will be
given no more than half credit. |
| If a student is absent on the day work is due, that work must be
turned in the day the student returns to school and will not be
accepted late. |

| Make up Work
| It is the student's responsibility to get makeup from the
teacher upon returning to school. |
| If the absence is not excused, the teacher will determine makeup
work to be completed--if any. Unexcused absences may not
necessarily be given make up work. |

| Reading Policy
| If parents or guardians object to a book you want to read . .
do NOT read it. There are plenty of entertaining, fascinating
book that your parents will not object to and I will be happy to
help you find some of them. |
| Students must have a novel with them at all times. |

| Writing Policy
| Always be classroom appropriate |
| All work must be done in blue ink, black ink, purple ink, or
pencil |
