AN OPAL FOR CHRIST

The Opal owes its beauty to a flaw. It has a broken heart. The light and warmth shines through the flaw and its beauty shines through. If we allow Gods light to shine through our flaws, our true beauty within shines through. In this book are my defects and times of very dark places. I hope it encourages and shines Gods love to all.

Do you know him when there seems to be no light,
when you are surrounded by the darkness of night?

Do you know him when all you feel is pain,
and just to get out of bed is a strain?

Can you reach out to touch Christ,
though life at times is filled with strife?

When death stares us in the face,
can we feel the presence of His amazing grace?

When life seems constantly stressed,
can we look up and say I'm truly blessed?

Do you truly know beyond the shadow of a doubt,
that Christ is always there no matter when satan is about?
