If by chance ... you should ever feel like you're alone ..
Your arms empty.. your heart aching .. and searching for a home ..
Look over your shoulder .. For there I'll be .. arms open wide ..
Offering you a shelter .. a safe place to rest and hide ..
If by chance .. you find yourself at night .. Staring at the ceiling ..
Thinking of yesterday lost.. That haunting ..yearning feeling..
Close your eyes .. and let all your thoughts run astray ..
I'll be there to wrap you in my heart .. Keeping all those ghosts at bay ..
If by chance ..you didn't know it .. for all eternity .. I will always be one step behind ..
Silently keeping watch.. a light ever burning for you .. In this soul of mine ..
Without hesitation .. reaching out to wipe away .. every tear you cry ..
The feel of a hand holding yours .. Soft whispers ..Letting you know.. "It is I " ..
If by chance .. you feel an extra heartbeat .. So loud it moves your soul..
It is only mine .. beating with yours .. and keeping out the cold ..
For you live in me now .. and never again inside .. will a winter be..
I promise you an ever Summer .. the same you gave to me ..
And yet it was not only by chance we came to be .. but fate that played a part ..
It was meant to be .. destiney .. That I should find your heart..
Yes..sometimes we walk in circles .. It's so sad... but we don't realize ..
That everything we are seaching for.. is right before our eyes ..
With you .. there never was a time .. I questioned ...will it last ? ...
Only answers .. My heart knew .. and there was no need to ask ..
I hold back nothing from you ..for it is you that made me live..
And anything you ask of me .. I will gladly give ..
For your love does not imprison .. it's lets me fly .. It sets me free .. and that's what real love is all about ..
For that I will love you into every tomorrow .. Not if by chance .. But without a doubt ..

The sky is lit w/ the cinders
of our love.... lovers embrace in passions embers
sweet sad tears streak my cheeks
we seemed to have lost the happy.. and have for weeks
I thought we'd make it now m not so sure...
Seems i cant do rt and there is no cure...
I look around and see us falling apart...
Knowing when u go.. u'r taking my heart...
I feel so incrediably sad...
I just dont understand Y u get so mad...
I sit here letting my tear drops flow...
I wonder if u care.. or if u'll ever know..
we both plan on a life
but yet we still meet with strife
I try so hard to look past the bad
I always end up just as sad..
I know that nothing is perfect, no not even me...
I dont expect it or even want it to be...
We tangle to often.. and it makes me scared
I hate to fight when tempers have flared..
maybe its to late to go back now...
I dont even know where to begin or even HOW...
All i can say is i love u...
And someday... it I get better... that depends on me 2....
When we r ready...u know where to find me
I'm in the same place where u left me....
Laying in love embers...
Watching the sky fill w/ our cinders....
