Crisis Of Conscience The doctor looked back at Charlie after attending to his hurt face. He went back again. He just kept looking out to sea. "I-," he stopped. Charlie just kept looking at nothing. The doctor kept looking back. "That's one sorry man." Said sawyer. "Yes, Clair keeps watching him." "What did she say?" "Nothing." "Jin and his wife tried talking to her. Nothing." "It's not good when people get quiet like that." He saw Hurley. "Hurley, come on Dude, ya gotta keep trying." Hurley shrugged his shoulders. She went by him motion him to follow. "Enjoying that?" "Yes, I'd like to see Hurley get something outa this island. He's really a kinda innocent type. Just needs encouragement." "Wish you were like that?" "Innocent, ya, got something in my brain that keeps nagging at me. At my conscience." "Know the feeling." "Doc," "I don't know, they both won't talk to anyone." "Locke, what's the story?" "Nope, she's not talking. Baby's so quiet you'd think she understood what happened." "What did happen?", asked Jin. "He said, What did happen?", repeated his wife. Locke spoke, "Drugs affect one's thinking. I saw it in people when I was younger. It disrupts reason." "I've noticed that as a doctor. Normal pathways of transmission, altered by drugs are blocked. They trick the brain so that even after a person stops, the same processes of thought one had while on drugs continue." Kate, "So, he still thinks like he's on drugs." "Yes." "That explains the paranoia,' Said Anna, "I've seen many a stoner, they can see cops come through solid walls." They all laughed. But Charlie wasn't laughing. He could have drowned the baby. He was not even sure why he did it. The minister could have baptized him. "Could I baptize her myself? Just wanted to dunk my head lifting her above the water. Just wanted her to go to heaven before I..." He started to write a poem. As he was writing he remembered a song from the collection of old records his Uncle had left him. It was a song by the rock band Transtasis. He loved the older bands. He told Hurley, "They could play epics, they wouldn't let us play like that. Today they want short songs, but epics, man, its like reading a novel when you listen to their material. Its like Mahler or Sibelius." He thought of the lyrics, he was feeling so down from what happened before. And Clair. "She does't love me. I...love her," he started to wipe the tears from his eyes. He started to sing the lyrics, ' Finally a new day born Waiting for her soon not forlorn Together in time beyond to infinity Here is our home no longer stranded alone* He did not think anyone was there, Michael had asked what he was doing. "Writing a song." And he left. However Clair was behind him, she wanted to speak but didn't. Clair's face was angry but closed her eyes, turned and left. " 'Wait here ...' ". He thought of the guitar at the beginning of the finale. He loved the guitarist's work. "Imagine, a single note from this guy and you start to cry." He was sorry for the fire. He was sorry for taking the baby. "Clair must hate me now. The looks on their faces They all hate me." He felt like the loneliest man on the island. And he wrote: When at last I am at rest And my bones are gently laid I will not see what gives unrest Faithful tears fall in the grave But I will rise to hear their calls The Lord himself will save My voice again heard by all The Lord himself they'll praise Finally, he felt such disdain for what he did he wrote a suicide note to Clair: "Clair, I know I've hurt you honestly, I love the baby, I love the you. But I can't go on without..I, your not with me. You didn't tell me you you didn't love me but I know it. Now, there is no point. I've thrown my chances away. So I am going to the edge of the cliff...you know where. Farewell, Charlie. He was crying. He left the note in the baby's crib when she wasn't looking. Locke saw him, "Charlie, look, we're just worried about the baby, its not you --we didn't know what you were doing." "Dude," said Hurley. "Charlie," said Kate. "Leave him alone," said Sawyer. "He'll come out of it." Jin and his wife asked where he was going. Saayd just watched. It was morning and the Minister thought it would be a good idea to give a memorial for the dead on the island. "I want to remind everyone of what we have lost, maybe, that will bring him to his senses." "That's a good idea," said the policewoman. It will give a reality check about the sanctity of life. You can't go into rough water with a baby." Clair was still silent, she watched him walk up the hill side. She looked at Kate and Sawyer who went to the baby. "Char...," she said but only wispered it. "Char...," she tried again. She followed as far as the start of the path but stopped. She turned back. Sawyer said to Kate, "Man, aint love a..." Hurley, "I'm getting bummed out man." His girlfriend hooked her arm around him without realizing it. "Atta boy!", said Sawyer quietly. Kate looked at him and smiled. "Isn't love a...I thought you said you were never in love." "Na, just said that cause I didn't want to talk about it." Jin argued with his wife about going up to Carlie. "No," she said, "No one interferred with us." "Come on," he said hurriedly, "with his mind set, who knows. I don't think he's going to look at the sea up there." The Other with the beard went by. He wondered about Walt. Just before he went by he watched in silence as Michael and Saayd followed Charlie. They wanted to keep an eye on him. Meanwhile, Charlie was moving slowly. He remembered all the fans he had met in his life. Images of people getting his autograph. Kate and Sawyer, Hurley, they all had been at his concerts. Now he remembered where he saw Locke, putting boxes away in a truck with some of the roadies talking to him. That's where I knew them from." Having dinner at posh hotels. Women following him. His fall out with his brother. All the synopsis for movies, tv, ideas for concerts he came up with that someone said he didn't write. In order to prove he did come up with ideas...he wrote down which ones influence these projects, then he could not find what he wrote after searching for hours. Then they had it in for him thinking he was a conartist. The avalanch of criticism for it. With all that pressure compromised himself and said he didn't write afterall. For that material he said, He never received anything for it --"art is a gift from God, it has all been for free." The fall out over a drug overdose that nearly killed an investor, a friend of his, which he got the blame for. The drugs he bought contained something lethal the chemist had accidentally put into it. Someone made a threat by email using his name he would kidnap the baby of the investor. After that all the rumours, even his brother denounced him. Then everyone hated him. Magazine and tabloids, internet sites, showed him in every unflattering way. Hate messages showed up in his email. There was someone who defended him who he was very grateful to. Realizing it was all slipping away from him he wrote: I have let the work of my mind drop through as if in my hands amber holding in its golden grip diamonds melted onto a floor full of holes leading to some depth where they are irretrievable... They took his name out of all the credits. At that point in time he went to the highway, near an overpass bridge at night. Watching the lights on the trucks; bright stars flashing by. Putting his foot in front ready to run into their path. He wanted to die. No one was going to pray for him like every man woman and child in the world praying for saving from Armeggedon. Or for the astronauts when it was feared they would not make it back to earth from an early mission. He could see the plane falling, everyone desparately trying to hang on. Everyone falling in the air people, grasping at imaginary ropes. Babies and children falling crying screaming. After falling it was like a scene from a war. Burning, he felt the sea on fire. The gas smell even in the water. The severed bodies, the blood, liquified flesh burning. Oil, he remembered swiming through blackness his eyes full of it, oil and floating debris. The hurt moaning souls praying. He remembered the Doctor pulling bodies out; he remembered Clair holding the baby above the water. The people lying there gasping holding their heads. One man had to cut somebody's arm off to free it from the death grip around his neck. That person may or may not have been dead. He felt all alone. He was at the gates Of hell, his mind was all delirium! His anger, his then unforgiving hate. The plane crash. And, now, without the love of Clair. Way down there... His foot pushed some of the rocks that fell far without a sound. Michael saw him go up and went back to get Clair. Hurley and Saayd knew what was going on. They all went up to get him. Clair left the baby with Anna. She raced so fast she fell. Fog has come down upon them. Wind blows as it blows Each group of them is seen as the wind momentarily clears to show them then blows fog back so they are unable to be seen. ] Locke and the Doctor on one side of the path. Kate and Sawyer on the other. They were not sure that if he saw them he would jump. Charlie asked God: "Do you love me still or do you...? Have you cut me out?" Anna came up slowly, gave the baby to Clair. Charlie steadied himself about to jump. Jin's wife put her hand to mouth, he held her. Locke held his forehead, Hurley put his arm around him. Kate and Sawyer both bit their lips. Michael and Saayd were ready to grab him. The suspense was unbearable. He thought about all the faces on the plane, the band, his parents, his first kiss. Those eyes in his eyes turned into the baby's then into Clair's. The baby cried. He turned around. She just glowered at him. She tried not to cry. "What!, but you don't love me!" Clair just stared at him. Then at the edge. She walked away, turning a few times as she went. She wanted to speak, opened her mouth. As she turned to walk she cried, tears falling on the baby's forehead. [The main cast is in front of Eko, the rest to the side fog has rolled in covering the hill down to just before the path] Eko began his sermont with a prayer. Then he stopped. "I am not really a minis-." He was stopped by the doctor. "We know." Locke spoke, "No one else was interested in the cargo or it's occupant." "It's not what you thi-." "Dude," said Hurley, "doesn't it say he sent out people two by two. We're they wearing black?" Eko replied, "Everyone who believes is to preach. And he spoke: "My friends, we are gathered here to remember those who passed from our eyes..." Meanwhile, they were all looking back for Charlie. Clair found the note. Locke read it aloud. They all kept looking back to where out of the fog he would be coming from. "It is better to go to the house of mourning than the house of feasting..." Clair kept looking back. She felt weak, Hugo tookthe baby, his girl was beside him. "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow..." Kate and Sawyer looked at each other, so did Jin and his wife. "I am the resurrection and the life..." The Doctor and Anna looked at Clair. Locke put his hands on Saayd's shoulders. "he that believeth on me...." Clair kept looking back, she remembered the song Charlie had been singing. It was in her father's collection. There was a lull before the finale of the song. Now everyone was getting worried. Clair started to cry. They all started to cry. "Maybe Charlie...," Hugo started to say. In the brush, unseen, was the bearded Other, Walt was with him. He began to feel guilty for taking the youngster. "Come on Charlie," Clair said under her breath. Sawyer got that angry, anguished look in his eyes. "and whosoever believeth and believeth in me shall never die...." Clair could hear the melancholy guitar start in her mind when Charlie appeared out of the fog. She started to think the lyrics 'Soon,...I will wait..." Sawyer broke down and fell to his knees. Walt appeared. Michael covered him with a hug. [Sawyer flashes back to the man he killed] Sawyer drops down to all fours and shook and cried. Kate fell with him. The Minister fell to his knees and held Sawyer's head and pulled him up to eye level. "Eko..." "He who...," he could barely speak his mouth was trembling... "He who loves little is forgiven little." Sawyer put his forehead to Eko's closed his eyes and cried. Clair stared at him. Carlie fell to his knees. "Forgive?", he said wispering, "I wish we were home." Jin spoke, his wife went to interpret but Hugo said "Dude, you are home." Charlie could barely see her for the tears. She could barely see him for the tears. [The shot looks up at her through mist and down at him through mist] He stretched his hand out to her. She took it and held it She remembered the last line of the song she knew so well: "longer stranded alone." [In the last shot, only the two are seen, he on his knees she standing holding his hand. Then Locke, smiling looking up at the sky, it was a beautiful day. Then back to the two, he hugging her knees then looking up at her.] Alias Lands On Lost Island Part Six Nadia's No(Wo)man's Land The new agent is reading a book of a critic's reflections on the movies. He speaks to Sloan the new girl, and Sidney. On the movie about the big ship: he says the first 1920's Commandments movie switches back and forth from the past to the present just like the big ship movie. The breaking up of the ship with flames from the equipment below is like the earthquake, in the Commandments movie of the 1950's when Moses throws the tablets of Commandments at the golden idol. Two of the villan's in the movies fall to their deaths. "Jack," Marshal said, "It's pretty sad, when someone is suicidal." "Yes, I am impressed how these people have faired here, not being trained in skills of survivalists." "Jack, better keep an eye on Nadia, I think she's been deeply affected by that man's contemplation." "Marshal," Sloan said, "Thank you for your concern, you have good observational skills." "That's why I'm at a computer and your out in the field. Better watch out there is a storm coming your way." "Thanks, we'll be watching for it." On the monitors Sayd has found a pair of binnoculars. They think the French woman left them. Everyone is taking turns looking through them. Clair and Charlie are sitting by each other, once they held hands, smiled. Then they sat looking at the ocean. Nadia meanwhile just stares at the monitor rocking back and forth. Marshal calls Sloan and asks whether she might be regressing. In a period of quiet from the weather, Jack and the two new agents are close to the hill where the facility is that intell cannot penetrate into to find out what they are doing in there. The female agent says, "The area is blocked to our sight, I wonder if its possible there is a new weapon or are they manufacturing something in there. The young male agent says, "Good thinking, drug running on an abandoned military facility with espionage equipment. They could track anything larger than they are." Jack, "I don't think its drugs actually. My guess is that it is some sort of bio weapons plant." Back in China Irinna is getting intel about about an experiment. Inside of an hour a short burst of rainfall produces two different results in two different places. In Pingdinshan 100 mm's fall but in Zhoukou only 30 mm's. An official in Zhoukou has complained it is the company Irinna's headquarters is located in. He thinks a plane with stars and stripes on it has seeded the clouds in one area producing more rain. She gets on the phone to the other agent [Isabella R's character], tells her of the results. She in return states she's ready to test the island for weather again. What neither of them state is that part of the experiment is that the islanders are being observed. Not for how they survive it but how they react to next coming weather event. In the meantime, Marshal has been hacking into the faction Group Two system. Making sure their video stream is what he wants them to see. He has also given the team the same rights as they have. So, if Sidney goes into Other's Agent One's account his name becomes hers. By putting code to allow Sidney to become Agent One, that agent's name is equated with Sidney but her presence is masked by reading but not writing her name. That is to say if Sidney is Agent One, old code Michael would read on the old 1970's program: John equate Alias write read John nowrite read Alias Practically though, Marshal has put the name John in substituting for Alias, therefore the name John is put in twice: John equate John1 write read John nowrite read John1 in this way each member of Alias is masked as a member of the Others. "Looks like a big storm," said the doctor. Locke, "Yes, we just had one. First a drought then a storm with lightning that just fans out everywhere. Nothing like it." Saayd, "I wonder if we will get a Tsunami." "Possible." Hugo, "Ahh,dude, like the numbers seem right for a big big storm. Its hot, still, muggy. Let's go into the shelter, I have a feeling..." Locke, "Doc, Saayd, he's right, I feel something in the air." "No, no, one, under -st -ands," said Nadia. "Keep an eye on her, Sid. Jack, what do you have?" "We've been able to breach a hidden passage door. There are containers full of some sort of chemicals. That's as far as I can guess without x-ray or infrared." New female agent, "If it was drugs wouldn't they have an air strip?" New male agent, "Your right, planes landing in trees are a good indication...wait, if this is a former military installation, where is the airstrip?" "Covered up somehow." "Where are the roads, wouldn't we see a few old vehicles? The island is big enough to drive around." "Look," said the girl. "Its some sort of generator." Just then some footsteps were heard. They left. Jack informed Sloan of this news and and they came back. "Nadia, Nadia," asks Sid. "What's the matter?" "Al -one, all." "We're all here!", hugs her, "See!" "You One, Gr -oup." "Sidney." "Dad," she kisses her sister. But Nadia pulls away saying she belongs somewhere else. That Sid is not her sister. Then she says she is and hugs her. Then cries. "Jack," says Sloan in an undertone, "I'm having a hard time with this. It's like she's split down the middle." "You mean multiple personality?" "No, I think its a simpler case. Don't forget she was not with us before. I think its a deeper connection with the past, or more specifically, with someone in the past. I think she has two pasts, two loyalties. That presents a difficulty. She has to reconcile two conflicting lives. She could vere off into Other-land where she is closer to the Others. She is, shall we say in her own Nomansland." "Nee -d to se -arch. Fo -r Other' -s." "There she goes again. Dad, are we losing her?" "I don't know, Arvin's having trouble concentrating on the mission and her. He's as divided as she is." "She pulled away from me. Oh, I don't want to lose her." The young woman comes in, "Sidney, she's gone." "Alright, Sid, you two stay. Arvin, you too." He nodds. Jack and the young man go looking for her. Nadia in the meantime has shut off her communication device. Yet she hold an earphone in place. Irinna in China meanwhile has given orders for the island experiment to begin. A storm has been gathering. It comes towards the island with huge walls of waves that repel a trawler, forcing it away from island. Saayd has seen it and starts to go up the hillside to see if he can wave to it but the storm gets too dark to see. Nadia has taken a large flashlight and, has foreseen her dilema. The team has found flares at their shelter. She has a flare gun. Being near the Other's shelter she turns and leaves but not before a strong wind forces her to crouch down. As Jack and the new agent pass by neither sees the other. A crack of lightning starts a burn in the forest in two places. A great wave rushes inland extinguishing it. The blazes of yellow flame go out. Nadia pulls the trigger. A flare goes up. A few Others and Saayd race to the spot. Nadia has put on night goggles spotting both before they meet her in the middle. The Others shoot guns in the air to warn Saayd off. Jack, thinking they are after her races to see Saayd. Saayd sees a figure in the dark. Lightning flashes. Jack ducks down so Saayd won't see him. Saayd stands out in the light. The Others see him and shoot over his head making him flee. They see Nadia, thinking she is an islander that has been in another compound and have never seen her. They shoot over her head. She freezes when Jack appears. The new agent shoots back some distance away to divert their attention. They get Nadia back to the compound. Suddenly they see the sky lighten up. However, the hilside all this time has been humming loudly, like some sort of industrial plant. There is a rainbow. For the first time many days Nadia has smiled. "Like to see the ba -by see that," she says, a little more fluently than she has been speaking before this time. Inside Sidney and Sloan both go to her but she glances away and for a moment looks through Sidney as if she never saw her. Sloan tells Sid to look into her eyes. But they are like looking through large transluscent dark marbles. "Jack," Sloan says, with tears in his eyes, "I'm losing her. She is almost devoid of affection towards me." "Sl -o -an," she says. "Oh, my God! Sloan, not more affection for Dad!" He puts his hand to his forehead. "Gr -oup Two!" "We've got to get her back. Its like there is another world she is on and we just are there, but fading. I am like a shadow to her. Of the present. Shadows are usually in the past and retrieved by memories. The present is fading into oblivion, dragging the past along with it yet it shoots out in front. Past is Being. Present is Nothingness. And yet there she is and yet she isn't. Its Nadia's Nomansland. A war of time states and our state our time with her is fading. Soon, where will she be? Will she survive. Jack," Sloan said, his arms open to him, his head looking up then down, "help me!". Nadia looks at the screen which sees Clair looking straight at her [the camera]. "Don' -t le -t him g -o," she says, again faltering in her speech. "Don' -t g -o ag -ain, Don' -t g -o Char." ---------------------------------------------------------- see: Alias Lands On Lost Island Parts One To Four Alias Lands On Lost Island Parts Five And Six Introduction: My version of the story: There are two groups that come from the Rimbaldi family line Faction One and Faction Two or Group One and Group Two. Group One is more traditional and of old, and religious Christian nobility Group Two split becoming radical and foment anti religious or Nihilistic revolution to overthrow old noble run governments to the present system we have. In this version Sidney represents Group One and Nadia Group Two resulting in Nadia's confusion, over her loyalties. This is especially evident from her time in recovering from the infection she suffered in last seasons finale. description of a finale: alias having found out the secret of the island and its international implications leaves nadia's crisis is resolved This post has been edited by gooday: Oct 16 2006, 12:05 PM -------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- Aternative Ending Drown As Ash Since she writes out of her experiences, her enemies that are still alive are upset over things she has written and so start to try to get back at her. She has to go back out into the field and fend them off. One day she sees photos of herself online that are of her face or have been altered and put into composites photos. As a writer but former spy she never attends conferences and allows no photos of her on her books. Only her psuedonym is listed in reviews. These photos could be damaging to her career and life, if governments and intel agencies see her. If caught by more powerful forces, the information she has, if forced out of her could endanger the lives of collegues and even whole populations. This especially since she knows so many formulas for deadly technology. In the end, in order to eliminate this possibility, sadly, Sidney decides to kill herself. It is the only way to save others from certain disaster. Before she does she fakes an accidental house fire burning all her papers documents formulas -anything that could be ill used by the enemy. Every picture of friends, family, collegues, with and without her and of herself alone is eliminated to prevent association with her who are still alive. Finally she goes out to sea in a small boat. She starts to burn the boat before shooting herself in it. This is her wake. The boat finishes burning and then falls into the sea. And Sidney drowns as ash. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------- Note: I did not watch the last season so here is what I have come up with Part One "Sir, Sir, said the lady running up to the man, "here, here take this," she said and hurried into the nearest building. He followed her but she ran knocking over some employees. "Miss, you can't, Sir, no, you can't," said a young man in a suit. A security guard placed himself in the man's way. "Sorry, but I can't let her get away, " he pushed him aside. The guard called the police. A police car was waiting outside. He ran across the road, the policeman tried to run him down. Jumping onto the hood he ran off and pulled the cop out of the car. Pulling out a small device and putting on his clothes, the man lay motionless, started to perspire and went unconscious. By now the lady was down by the river, running towards the bridge. There she pounded on cars screaming at them to let her in. Some young people on the way to a concert gave her a ride across the boarder. He managed to catch a picture of her with his cell. When he got back to his office he pulled out the package of disks. There was an html file that had a picture below which there was a link. It was a picture of Dixon interviewing Sidney. She was at a desk and had chains round her ankles knees and wrists. There was a description by a psychiatrist below. It stated she had had a fugue episode. Which is a mental state in which a person forgets who they are and travels to a new location creating a new identity, leaving everyone and everything behind. The rest of the analysis came to different conclusions. No less than ten special agents and ten psychiatrists stated: Her being of sound mind and body. Tendency to be rebellious, unloyal, false to oaths; traitor to her country. Thought to be a double agent- owing to contradictory statements about the U.S. and other countries she lived in. That, she lied about being a writer in her retirement from being an agent. That, by using Marxian rhetoric in her stories she was a communist. The analysts felt this to be a fabricated life to hide her real activities. Branded a traitor who sold secrets to foreign governments. Branded a criminal for 'various exploits too numerous to mention', she was not a reformable criminal: too dangerous! According to their sources her stint in porn, appeared to be a way to make money in order to fund various trips around the world in her role as double agent. In fact, everything Sidney had done in her life was erased and someone or some group was making sure that her legacy as one of the most valuable assets to democracy arund the world was tainted. Clicking on an html file, one link showed her being interview by Dixon. She is heard as stating she was a double agent and sold state secrets to terrorist organizations...even to an espionage organization that had as a front running drugs into the US from foreign markets. In the background on tv was the news. A musician was stating he does not remember what he said in rehab. Video of the doctors talking to him made it seem like was admitting stealing drugs from a pharmacy he had broken into. However, he said in an online interview he was mistaken by a security guard for the actual thief. While running the link he noticed the position of an object in the background in the sequence of video in two different locations. Moreover, while she was saying she stole plans for nuclear bombs from a Russian scientist who was working in Canada, she was laughing. When she was describing a formula she was crying. Suddenly the same interview began over and the expression on her face was more serious and the tone of voice more matter of fact. He put in a different disk. It had the exact same file. This time, when the exact same link was clicked on, the same interview appeared. Running the link start icon, it was more refined than the second link of the first disk. He stopped it before it ran through. Putting the first disk in he clicked the right mouse button. A menu listed a number of options and he dragged it down to 'source code'. The html/script code revealed two distinct html links with two different image/source tags. They were two different interviews. Or, more likely, one long interview, repeating the same questions and anwers until the interviewers got what they wanted. By clicking on Dixon, he found that this was an image tag that came after a tag that had been remarked out. This takes code and renders it unable to be read by the compiler: the computer's ability to execute a program, so that it outputs what you see on the screen. The image that Dixon replaces is still there in code but does not show up. He then took out the code for Dixon's picture, and pput back the code for the actual person in the interview to reveal a different man. Doing the same for Sidney revealed a different on the same body. In other words, our two familiar agents were not actually there. Next, the man looked at the third disk. He saw a video of himself. In it he was telling a man something. The other man was in a dark suit, in a room with only one light shining. The man made him sit up. Our man was sweating profusely and was confused. After receiving an injection by a woman he started to turn white the he cried. Blood started to sweat out of his forehead. As he watched the computer drops of blood fell onto the keyboard. He took the computer and the disks and ran out of the building. He went to the bus stop even though he had a luxury car by the building. Getting on the bus he put the computer and disks in a middle aged man's bag when he wasn't looking. At the next stop he got out. Going up to the roof of a building he went to the edge of the building and jumped a number of stories down. The coroner, upon examination found a microchip implanted in his brain. When he went to lift it out of the tissue the tissue seemed electrically charged to move. A spark emanated from it and the mouth of the man opened. The eyes opened, rolled up at him. An involuntary response yet so startling the coroner, all bloody, ran out of the room only to trip. Suddenly, two men appeared. They put him in white sheets wrapped around his body in another room. They put gloves on and worked for a while, taking portions of tissue and implants located in various parts of the body out. Putting the body into the place it had come from, the 'dead drawer'. Taking a canister and pouring liquid all over it they dissolved the body. Walking out in perfect calm... Back in his room, they peeled wall paper away from the walls to reveal symbols written on each wall. Which they took pictures of. Later some painters came in and stripped the walls down and painted them over. While they were cleaning up a man came in with a stun gun followed by a team of men who took them into a van. In the morning the police were pulling the van up from the water. After the van was pulled out the tow truck took the car away from the station. When the two policemen in charge went to a doughnut shop, one sat, the other went to a restroom. One at the counter died while eating a regular glazed...the other reading the sports section. A customer who had coffee from the same pot as the policemen fell to the floor, convulsed and died. There was no notice in the papers from any of these deaths. At the bus station the lost and found department retrieved the computer and disks and gave them to a woman of about _____. She ran to a dark car with dark windows. Pulling her sunglasses off she looked at the disks. The fifth disk showed the text of a future UN treaty on space, satillites and the moon and weapons. Another document was a secret deal, in the event of an attack on the US by two far off countries. Yet another was a map of oil resources around the world. Another was of a chunnel underneath the sea with people in winter clothing in it. Finally, a war strategy map over a large land mass. The country this was in: Canada. In the mirror we see her face and it is... Part Two Somewhere in Euorpe at an ancient cemetary two luxury cars pulled up near a monument. The oak trees each had a girth of two stoves across. Fog was rolling in from nearby water, the sound of waves lapping was heard. "Good morning," said one man. "Good morning," said the other. "Did you know?". "Yes. She's dead". "We had an implant in her body, it sent messages in the form of an electric pulse...we picked it on the helicopter from the boat. We just saw her light herself on fire from a distance. It was too late. We could not save her. "So, it dies with her?". "It is no longer our business". "What about the other business?". "Our plans have taken a new direction...". to be continued.... This post has been edited by gooday: Oct 29 2006, 01:29 PM Below are excerpts from two stories to show that my story is nothing like the movies I mentioned earlier. ************************* This post has been edited by gooday: Oct 29 2006, 01:29 PM At the bus station the lost and found department retrieved the computer and disks and gave them to a woman of about _____. *************************************************************** Irinna in China meanwhile has given orders for the island experiment to begin. My guess is that it is some sort of bio weapons plant." Back in China Irina is getting intel about about an experiment. ************************* At this point I have not proofread and corrected spelling mistakes. "Like to see the ba -by see that," she says, a little more fluently than she has been speaking before this time.
