poems by amanda
Mood:  not sure
hope still lingers throughout my universe
clinging on to whats left to hope for.
blind in knowing whats in front of me
deaf to whats beyond.
hopeless people full of hope
they see nothing thats in reality.
seeing a white picket fence around a home of they're dreams
not knowing what really lives there.

childhood less remembered
Mood:  sad

let me start this blog by explaining a little about what i'm writting about. as many, i've had many bumps in the road that eventually turned into mountains and found myself in a lot of legal trouble. i used to have a substance abuse problem, and that right there is the key phrase to this whole thing. the justice system felt that my freedom be taken away just for the fact that i was caught carrying my own stuff. i would like to elaberate on this for a moment.... fact is, is that i could of left it somewhere for a kid or pet to come across and maybe sample taste. YEAH RIGHT!!!!! i've done more than 10yrs years in prison and to think that i could of got help during those years i spent behind those walls. it's a sad and lonely life inside the darkest part of this earth where everyone is looking down on you and sterio typing us as criminals! for their info., i'm not a thief, i don't run around planning my attack to get my next high. i'm actually pretty inteligant, i have a job, i participate in all that is neccesary to better myself and to improve my parenting abilities in raising my 5 yr old son by myself.
