Testimony

deep in the soil of faith
a tiny seed is planted
this simple seed
planted with care
by faithful hands
is nourished with the light
of Christ's words
and fed
the water of sincere prayer
slowly    the seed begins
to swell
until one day 
he bursts open
into the blossoming flower
of a testimony
nourished   tended   pruned
this flower continues to grow
roots intertwined
burrowing through the soil of faith
he becomes strong
stands tall
now little bees begin to carry
his sacred pollen to others
helping their seeds sprout
as his continues to bloom
and blossom
a flower of God
