My name
in print.
Now hundreds know
who I am.
I can see them now:
they'll beg
for my manuscript
rather than stack it beneath
a mass of nameless poets.
Every word I write
will be praised
and printed,
not criticized
and crumpled
into a wad of worthless writing.
