MORGANTOWN WRITERS GROUP
Morgantown Writers Group, also known as MWG Writers, meet monthly from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Morgantown Public Library, 373 Spruce Street, Morgantown, West Virginia 26505. 304-291-7425. The next MWG meeting is Monday, March 13, 2006.
The group is hosted by George Lies, who is also President Emeritus of West Virginia Writers Inc. George.Lies@mail.wvu.edu.
Also active in the group is Terry McNemar, mcncon@iolinc.net, Patricia Patteson, Patricia.Patteson@mail.wvu.edu, and several other established local writers, mostly from the Morgantown and Fairmont areas.
Writers discuss the art and craft of writing poetry, prose, fiction, and non-fiction. Writers also have the opportunity to submit work for constructive critique.
