Things I Should Have Known Sooner!!

All the relationships I’ve been through, maybe all the things I’ve lost! Comes to complilation of
some things I’ve learned in the past. Some funny, some not so funny.

What I Wish I’d Known Sooner: Started December 27th, 2000

1. If you dye your hair flame red upstairs in your room when you know you’re not really supposed to and
then come downstairs like everything’s alright and sit under a bright light, people will find out.

2: Dropping a Playstation kind’a kills it.

3: You should always save your game.

4: Chili and a white sweatshirt is a bad, bad combination.

5: If you dye hair that has been dyed flame red, flame red within the same week, it turns flame pink.

6: There is no way possible to get something that has never worked to magically work just because you
want it to.

7: Just because you love someone and they say that they love you, doesn’t mean that they won’t make you look like a total ass at some point in time.

8: Being made to look like a fool straightens your priorites out.

9: Having a long distance relationship to Arizona and never shutting up about it, and racking up phone bills
to Kingdom Come, then losing that relationship makes you feel REALLY stupid.

10: Telling people every aspect of your life usually gets them either: annoyed, interested, or if you tell them the same series of events, uninterested when something good does happen.

11: Overkilling of things you love is bad. Otaku is good, but overkill is bad.

12: Mailing lists are a very bad idea for anyone.

13: Don’t expect the phrase ‘I love you’ to mean something to someone when the person lives more than
2,000 miles away. For all that person probably cares, you could be a milk crate.

14: Milk crates are probably much more fun to break than a relationship.

15: Milk crates make very boring pets.

16: If a person says they’re going to do something and they don’t do it within 2 weeks, don’t expect it to
actually happen.

17: If someone says, ‘You’re going to kill me...’ when you say hello to them on the phone, there’s a 99.9% chance something has gone very, very wrong.

18: Always carry your house key.

19: For the last time, don’t cross your parents, they’ll make your life HELL.

20: A phone conversation with your girlfriend/boyfriend get a lot more interesting if they have their hand down their pants.

21: Talking to someone while they’re high is pretty pointless. They just laugh at everything you say.

22: The things you wish you’d known sooner are the things that you fucked up before!

23: People think it’s the end of the world at the stupidest things.

24: If someone’s going to kill themself, chances are they won’t ask you for help.

25: Don’t rely on anyone else for anything that you might need...Like courage and strength, because then when you lose that person you become a gutless wuss, because you never learned how to get along without them.

26: Even the people that you look up to and think are stronger than you can turn out to make the dumbest descisions you’ve ever seen in your life.

27: Love can make people one of two things: Stronger than they ever have been...Or: A completely
brainless moron.

28: Anyone can be a coward.

29: Sometimes, even death looks better than living without someone.

30: Love makes people blind to just about everything.

31: When you get a love back you thought you’d lost forever...It’s amazing, you love them like never before.

32: Love itself is amazing. Never doubt the power of love to heal, and anything else...yet love can hurt, so make sure not to make the same mistake above 4 times.

33: The cost of love is great, but knowing that the other person would do anything for you cancels out any
fear of loving them with all your heart.

34: Love like you mean it, don’t hold back any emotion, because tomorrow might not come.

35: Every wish is heard, regardless of wether you want it to be or not.

36: Time changes people, no matter if you like the changes or not.

37: You never really know a friend until they hurt you.

38: Even the best of friends can become mortal enemies given the right circumstances.

39: People can snap at the slightest things.

40: When someone thinks you have lied to them, despite the fact that you may or may not be telling the truth, there is no way to make them believe you...because in their heart you are no longer to be trusted.

41: If you cry, sooner or later, you’ll laugh.

42: Some people can be really immature and cruel, despite their age.

43: Grudges only dull over time, they never go away.

44: When someone tells you they are no longer a part of your life, you should probably believe them.

45: You can’t change the past.

46: Not everyone is capable of forgivness.

47: Even the sweetest people in the world are capable of hurting you like you’ve never been hurt before.

48: The people who stick by you through it all are sometimes the ones you least expected.

49: Turnabout is really fair play.

50: All you have to do is wait, if it’s meant to happen it will!

51: The person you find to be perfect for you might be anything but, yet you love them anyway.

52: No means no. Goodbye doesn’t nescesarily mean goodbye unless the person you are dealing with
specifically tells you that they are no longer a part of your life, and can’t stand you any more.

53: Sometimes, losing a friend hurts more than losing a lover.

54: “I’m sorry...” doesn’t cut it by most people’s standards.

55: Love is remarkable. It can make you blind in some cases for better or for worse, but when your eyes
finally clear, and that person is still standing beside you, everything is right again.

56: Your weight is probably less than you think.

57: You can’t make someone do something. They have to be willing to do it for themselves.

58: Time dulls soul-shattering pain to a dull ache, which can and will reawaken at the worst possible time in
which for it to do so.

59: Not everything has a reason for happening.

60: Some people can be the exact opposite of who you thought them to be if you push them too far,
regardless of whether or not you thought you knew them.

61: To some people, if they’re angry with you, your friendship means nothing to them.

62: There is no way to turn back time.

63: You cannot stop miscommunications, although you can try and take them back, some people just do
not care by that point what you have to say.

64: The closer the friend, the better the lover. Trust me, I know this to be fact.

65: People can be downright bitchy!

66: It’s important to breathe while proposing to someone...it’s also important not to stutter.

67: Your love finds the things about yourself that you find to be stupid, immensley cute instead.

68: Some people, no matter the depth of friendship you shared before...if they hurt you deeply, you realize that you were better off without them. You never needed them, that they suck...And then reality hits. You did need them, you might have loved them, and you’re not sure what to do without them.

69: Know that someday, you’ll be sorry. Someday when you’re free, memories will remind you of all you can never be.

70: Time goes by too quickly when you’re having fun, and too slowly then you’re not.

71: Friends are what makes a person’s life, you are nothing without them and become everything with them.

72: The only thing more important than graduating, is wanting to in the first place.

73: Don’t ever put love before school. All it does is hurt you in the long run.

74: Every being on the face of the earth has done something crazy in the name of love at some point in
time.

75: People’s emotions are fragile. You are not the only one suffering if you hurt someone. Stop being so
conceeded and cruel and think of how you’d feel if you were on the other end of the words. Telling me, “I
wouldn’t care!” is direct translation to, “I’d care! It’d hurt!”

76: Friends...Some of them you never needed, trust me.

77: Life...A mass of cells that require you to become something for a while.

78: The truth hurts, not telling it hurts a lot more...Especially if you know you’re lying. if your heart isn’t in it and you speak the words, if there is no truth behind them...They’re hollow, they mean nothing.

79. The truth still hurts. It still hurts you to know that you hurt someone by being honest to them. It always will.

80. When you clear your mind of the past and focus on the future everything become clearer.

81. There is no substitute for honest, real; love.

82. Loving anew is like growing a plant. It’s brand new, fragile, needs constant care; and warmth. If you
don’t tend to it and make it feel special and make sure it’s healthy, it will die.

83. Anyone younger than 12 who claims to be in love, grow a plant, keep your own pet without parent’s

84. Getting laid is not the purpose of a teenager’s life. They just make it seem like it is.

85. Sure, getting laid helps, or talking about it, or talking dirty, but still. Don’t do anything you’re not fully committed to, because once you do, it’s like a pact of trust and honesty. if you break that, you break a lot more than just a relationship.

86. Every once in a while, fate gives you that one true love you dreamed about.

87. Forget look before you leap. So what if there’s a cliff you’re about to fall off, --Falling is half the fun.

88. Need I say this again: No contact kills long distance relationships!

89. I cannot say this enough, love is amazing. It heals all wounds.

90. Sometimes, what you love most is not right in front of you; it’s standing beside you where it always was.

91. Shoobies, they’re everywhere! Get used to it!

92. I scream, you scream we all scream for ice cream! That’s a novelty that’ll never go out of style.

93. As long as there are children whose laughter echoes on a playground, hope isn’t lost.

94. Don’t give up if you’re single. Being single means that you get to know the most important person, the
most special person of all: Yourself!

95. Building a relationship is hard work, but once you do...You sit back, smile, and admire where you’ve
been and how far you have come.

96. Loving someone and having them love you in return is the best feeling in the world.

97: Long term relationships...Those are hard work. Very, very hard work.

98. Songs that get overplayed really lose their fun factor after a while.

99. The person you love, loves you no matter what and for who you are. That’s all there is to it. No ‘If’, ‘And’, ‘But’, or ‘What if...’ about it.

100. Looking back on this, if there’s 100 things I should have known sooner, and I started this last year...
I spent 1/3 of my year DOING the things I should have known sooner....Damn.

107: Phsyco cheerleaders are pretty damn funny...

108: Dreams can and will shatter in a breath

109: You have to give yourself totally to someone who may hurt you more in the long run to heal your heart.

110: Dancing with glowsticks is fun...Glowsticks make anything fun.

111: You can tell people you're putting your cat in the dryer and that you'll call them back and they actually believe you.

112: If you play DDR...Buy Powerade, Gatorade...Or good old water...
113. That life is Hell, no matter how you slice it.

114. I might be barely breathing but I'm not dead.
