I keep trying to tell myself
That God wanted it this way
But sometimes that's so hard
When  I feel  I've been led astray

It's really over
I can't believe this is the end
It makes me so sad
Because  I always thought you'd be my friend

Part of me doesn't believe it's real
I'm in disbelief and shock
And the other part of me remembers time will heal
...though I'm at a loss
