Mountain Meadow Equestrian Center just minutes away from Knoxville, Friendsville, Alcoa, Greenback and the Mcghee Tyson Airport offers full-care boarding along with a lesson program that embraces students of all levels and abilities. Situated in a lovely country setting, our unique barn design caters to a horse's natural preference for open spaces. The bright and airy atmosphere is physically and mentally healthier for your horse.
This newly opened professional facility has a 24 hour on-site owner/manager. All stabled horses are turned out daily, with eight fields to keep the horses in small groups. Night checks of the stabled horses are part of our daily routine.
Don't let the weather affect your riding or your horse's condition. Stay cool in the summer and dry in the winter. Ride in the large, lighted and insulated covered arena or enjoy the outdoor arena with a beautiful view of the mountains.
Take a ride through our wooded trails, enjoy the fall foliage and open fields of wildflowers and butterflies. Access the trails directly from the stable. No need to travel on busy roads or through fields with horses to get to our trails.
We strive for the best in care and comfort for you and your horse. Louise has 30 years experience in boarding all breeds of horses and ponies, teaching riding for competition and pleasure, and also breaking and training horses through the advanced levels.
