Like Snow

It's amazing the way,
Not on just anyday,
The snow covers the ground,
Spreading joy all around.
It covers the grass, leaves, and dirt,
So you never know if where you're stepping you might get hurt.
It's like the way I feel inside,
No amount of snow could possibly hide.
The snow makes everyone happy, makes them have fun.
It just makes me want to run and run.
Run away from all the pain and fears,
Run away from all the hurt and tears.
But, like me, the snow just melts away,
Only to come back another day.
