No Gifts To Bring


I haven't any gifts to bring,
or cake, or ice cream treats,
Nor do I have Spring flowers,
to lay at my friends feet

But I do have a heart so true,
 in which our friendship bides
and all the gifts the world may have,
 can't brush that love aside

So celebrate, my dearest friend,
and have a wonderful day
and know I'm thinking of you
even though I'm far away!
