Lost In the Night

It was dark and the lights are out.

Silence surrounds me from everywhere

There I stood on top of the world. 

With the wind blowing my hair back and forth.

 As I listen to the wind it's telling me your love will come. 

I felt a warmth touch against my

body as the wind rushed by. 

Gently a kiss was planted on my lips. 

I was fill with so much excitement. 

As I look down below,

I can see the lovers of the night. 

As I turn towards the lake, there I saw the love I had. 

So big and calm but yet so lonely. 

With the touch of the lights I saw him. 

Soaring across the sky with out a mate. 

I long to soar across the world with

him tonight. 

Wait for me as I called out into the darkness. 

But I was frozen as he left. 

With my heart in my

hand as I sit here waiting for his return. 

 A teardrop fell from my eyes now I realize I have lost him once again.
