Hey Peops, Here's a new recipe for a dish called Lisablog's Columbian-Italian Pasta Sauce:
a bunch of garlic (4-5 cloves)
chopped fresh fennel (the stalks, not the seeds)
a package of Columbian chorizo from your local bodega (this is not a soft Mexican chorizo but more closely resembles a hearty German sausage in texture)-- chop it into dime-sized slices.
Next, add 1 big can of crushed tomatoes and 1 big can of tomato sauce (organic).
Add chopped jalepeno stuffed olives and fresh basil.
Cook, simmer, simmer, simmer and add salt, pepper, and honey to taste.
Serve with a pasta of your choice (linguine will work) and top with crumbled soft Mexican cheese (also available at your local bodega). Peace people, and have a good Saturday.
