Sewing is a hobby of mine that started years ago when I was in high school. I have sure come a long way!

I have been married for 36 years, have two grown daughters and four wonderful grandchildren, the youngest being a girl. I loved to sew when I was in high school and made a few things for myself. After our first daughter was born, I couldn't seem to find dresses that were very cute and the ones that I could find were too expensive, so I purchased a $50.00 Kenmore, a very basic sewing machine.

I made dresses, curtains, bedspreads and did mending for people. After the girls got older I went to work outside the home and didn't have much time for sewing anymore. I did make my oldest daughter's prom dress when she was a senior.

I have been doing carpentry work with my husband, which is similar to sewing. You start with a pile of lumber and end up with a deck, the same as starting with a pile of material. I enjoy the work, but was getting too hard for me, so about a year and a half ago I purchased a sewing/embroidery machine and did mostly embroidery for the three grandsons. And then, along came this beautiful little baby girl, and the rest is history!! I love sewing for her; she is such a cute little model.

I do mending, embroidery, make scrubs for tech's in a Dr's clinic (they like specialty fabrics), and more.

My machine is in my home and I just enjoy creating new things... many of which you can see here.

Please feel free to leave comments in my guest book. I love to hear feedback about my creations.

My name is Debbie and if you are interested in having me create something for you, please feel free to contact me with your questions.
