ALEXANDER JOSEPH WOOD
Hello!
Cindal and I would love
toshare our story about Alexander with you.
You see, when I told Cindal that God
was giving us a baby,
She was delighted!
She couldn't wait for it to be born.
Well, according to the doctor's
our baby was not well.
Cindal and I worked hard
to help the baby.
We did what
the doctors asked.
But I was sent away to a
hospital over 3 hours away
early into my pregnacy.
I called my
daughter everyday.
She was so worried over me
and the
baby.
But she was a strong little girl.
She did not cry which helped Mommy
and baby alot.
Alex was born on Christmas Eve Morning 1995.
He
was a very sick little baby.
The doctors gave him three
operations
and was doing ok.
Cindal was
excited and fell instantly
in Love with him.
I was happy but worried.
I went home after the new year.
We waited for Alex to get well
and hoped for the
day
we could bring him home.
I called long distance
every day to check on him.
Some days
were hard as he would seem
to not be well...
other days his fight to live
was like a roaring Tiger.
Cindal and I prayed for him
every night before bedtime.
Alexander was doing
well.
We went to visit him
and found out that
he had
developed Pnomonia,
thats a really bad flu.
His little
lungs filled up with yucky stuff
and he fought every
bit of strength to breathe.
He became very weak and tired.
Finally, the nurses put
a machine on him to help him.
Alex fought really hard.
The nurses and doctors
did everything they could.
God must have looked down on Alexander
and took
heart to him.
Alexander passed away
on January 24 1996
at one month old.
WE MISS YOU ALEX!
YOUR STILL OUR LITTLE TIGER!
LOVE ALWAYS...MOM AND *SISTER* CINDAL :-)
