Falling on pearl, the chains of night,
Outshining milk, is the cider bright,
Engraved in marble, the two sapphires,
Broad and calm, shines forehead light.
Swift yet gentle, is the deer’s pace,
Sober and calm, that lion’s grace,
Beauty and gesture, a blend of two,
Wise and fair from the angel’s race
Wide and deep, the drunken eyes,
Is it not demigod, in human guise!
Cannot step out of the reverie, as for
In thine smile, all my poesy lies
And that woeful sigh, I heave,
Not for good you are here, to leave
Me suffer for thou, yes true,
Development of love, lady of my eve
