That sudden burst,

That sudden blast,

At once all occurred,

That painful past.

In the blissful tear,

In the joyous sigh,

Hidden in smile

Was the grievous cry.

The woeful, the deep;

The loud, the grave,

Seemingly death

Is the immortal pave
