Think of yourself in front of a volcano. Imagine the heat, the threat, and the power of sin confronting you. Peep into the depth and the intensity of fire. Think of the burns, and not just burns but your death in harness. Are you able to support yourself with logic that even if you jump into this hole, you shall come out unharmed? Can you imagine the glowing red flames turning into a bed of flowers? Would you still think of yourself as the safest of all men in front of the arrows? Without translating, let me quote:

Bay khatar kood para aatish-e-namrood mein ishq

Aqal hai mehw-e-tamaashaye lab-e-baam abhi

But are you willing to believe that all this is true, though your written history may lack it? Whether you believe it or not, but they believed it… they who believed in the oneness of God and the prophecy of Muhammad (Peace be upon him). They believed, who also believed that their Lord had preserved Pharaoh, for them to take an example from. Without being able to discover him from the depths of the ocean, they believed that he did exist. Even the advent of science was to tell them that a body cannot even survive a couple of years underwater but they kept their faith. Indeed startled and astonished was science to see how the unique mineral deposition had preserved the deceased over the course of time. Now this is easy for you to believe today but was it then for them? Was there any logic to support this phenomenon? Or was there only the blind faith…!!!
