At the Devastation

What shook the world, so was the thrash,

There was a blow that blew the minds,

In the two sky-scrapers, there was a crash,

But humans, at last, for once it binds

The strive of man is there still,

To break the hearts, spread woe around,

The best way out, the rectitude hill,

Is difficult to climb, is piety bound

But once a man does reach the ground,

No power, no sin, no omen can break,

The power of truth, within if found

No evil can dread, therein to wake.
