Ozarks & Beyond

Welcome to my first website on my family tree. I've been doing genealogy a few years now and wanted to create a place online to keep all my information as well in my personal notes and family tree software. So I expect I will be continually adding and correcting my site here and hope you will come back often and see then changes.

Here my family tree begins with Mother's tree and her parents, my grandparents, Jesse & Etta Mae GRIFFITH. They were both born in the Ozarks of Arkansas and it is there that I begin because there have always been several Ozark stories of family passed down. Their were 13 children in this family, to which my Mother, was one. My Mother met and married my Father in Arkansas as well and beyond that is many families.

My Mother's tree contains families such as GRIFFITH, CURTIS, HELTON, WADE, CROUCH, BALLARD, and HARDIN. My Father's tree includes families such as LINDSEY, WILLIAMS, GARRETT, BEARD, BRYAN, and many more.
 

The information contained in this site came from many sources such as internet, libraries, family relatives, courthouses, and cemeteries and wonderful volunteers! Also I have met a handful of relatives and genealogy friends since I began this journey and they have been so helpful. I would like to personally thank them and for sharing their hard work and family photos.

 These pages are personal research of my family lineage and some may or may not be accurate, so please do your own research to verify before copying. I am also interested in sharing what I do have, so feel free to contact me.

This site is dedicated to my parents, Beuford & Inez Griffith Lindsey, who have both passed away this past year. I miss them dearly. This work is a great way to keep our ancestors in our hearts and minds forever and never let them be forgotten. We are here because of them! My parents stories of their past are what inspired me to begin searching for my ancestors. They taught me the importance and value of family. I have met cousins and kin along my journey that I never would have known or met if I had not taken up my hobby or interest of genealogy.
