"Abandon" Katie's new film, is set to be released September 2002.
She and the cast have just signed contracts for a sixth season of Dawson's Creek...she is said to be happier (Rumours of restfulness have been about) now that her boyfriend Chris Klein has moved in with her.
Katie has been cast in the thriller, "Phone Booth" with Jim Carrey...
Katie recently rejected the script for episode #12, asking for a rewrite. (She didn't like the fact the writers had written for Joey to sleep with Charlie)
