I see you each day, and I really don't know what to say.
I like you inside and out, but you don't even know what relationships are about.
I hurts to think you knew, and still went looking for someone new.
You asked me why I get so mad at you, and all I can say is simply, "because I love you.

They say, "All she ever does is cause you heartache.
"But when I saw you, your eyes told me you were heaven sent.
And I knew God had sent you my way,
because you were the girl who was always there when things weren't okay.
I know now that, without you, my life would never be the same,
because I had just opened up my heart to you... and felt no shame.
So, as time slowly fades away,
