KISS MY LIPS by JOHN PROCKNER

KISS MY LIPS

Have I not waited for you
on the coldest of Winter's Day?
When the trees were all barren-
Casting absence of life from their branches.

Have I not walked with you
even on the thinest of all ice?
When the chilly Northern Winds
Blew frost bitten whispers to my ears.

Have I then not left myself
there within your Heart?
So that you may feel my Love, no matter
Which corner of the World you may face.

But, the radiance of my Love
brings forth Flowers, there within your Garden.
Then turns Daffodils into Roses
Before your very eyes.

Turn to me then,
And Kiss my lips once again
So that I may always remember
Just how deeply you live within my Soul.
