Work, Ramadan, and Lifting...
Mood:  cool

I love Ramadan. I didn't think I would, but I do. Even though I work at a restaurant and have to deal with food all day, I don't feel tempted to take any until it's time.

Speaking of work, it was a really interesting day yesterday. I made decent tips and only had a couple people think I didn't undertsnad English lol.The real interesting part was when a woman came in trying to sell us art.

Let me set something straight. If you're going to attempt to sell art to a Muslim-run restaurant, make sure there is no nudity or idolatry in it! I would have just said we didn't need it anyway, since the owner wasn't there, but I had good reason to refuse it when I saw them.

I also gave away one of my favorite hijabs last night. Someone at the masjid needed one and I had an extra in my car, so I just gave it to her. I had to leave a little early and didn't want to hunt her down and rip it off her head. Oh well, I have plenty more.

My lifting has gone pretty well, which surprises me. I haven't gone as hard as usual just because I don't want to be too sore.

I suppose that it all there is to say for now.
