Over the years I have entered some
of my poems in poetry contests sponsored by The International Library of
Poetry. As a result of these contests I have had some of my poems
published in books by The International Library of Poetry. Three of the
poems on this web site (Tears of Flames, Breathless Wonder, and Night of
the Crows) are the latest poems to be published in these rare books.
Breathless Wonder and Night of the Crows made it to the final round of
judging in November of 2002.
I am excited to let you
know that my poem, Night of the Crows, has been selected by a group of
Editors at the International Library of Poetry to be professionally
recorded and included in a special poetry collection (CD and cassette),
The Sound of Poetry, to be released by the International Library of Poetry
later this year. I have been chosen as one of 33 poets whose
artistry will be recorded professionally for this collection of poetry.
As a result of my unique style of poetry
and having two poems make it to the final round of a contest, The
Board of Directors and the Advisory Committee of The International Society
of Poets have nominated me as a Lifetime Member of the International
Society of Poets!
