SIMPLE WORDS, SPECIAL LOVE

It ended and I can't believe it did
But the ad things was, it ended with a conflict
I still have my feelings for this particular guy
But staying friends is good for me too and that's not a lie
I just hope, as friens, we can still get along well
I hope I can still talk to him, my problems I can tell
I thought and wanted it to last a bit longer
It couldn't, but because of this my character is stronger
He was and will always be that special one I used to love
But now it's time to fly away, just like a beautiful, white dove
