PHASES IN THE PERIOD

So, after having a couple of talks with a couple of good friends of mine, I realized something, I’m ready now. I’ve been through the missing period, the I-still-love-him period, the I-want-him-back period and now I’m almost done, just got to face one thing, that won’t be too hard I hope.
So, you see, there are a couple of phases and periods we have to go through after a break-up. Most of the time, you smile, that day after it’s over, until it’s gotten through you. When that happens, you start crying, being depressed. While you’re being depressed, you’re going to miss him/her. Then you start to feel the love again, not realizing why it broke in the first place. You start to think that can’t live without your loved one, you think you love him/her more than anything in the world. Then you start to want him/her back, you’re starting to feel guilty: why did it ever break up? The amount of time though is different with everyone.
Eitherway, you’re still depressed, but then, you come to your senses. You realize that you don’t really need him/her, your “love” is starting to fade, and the way you want them back too. All there is left are great memories. Of course, it’s normal that you still miss them, but who says it has to be in the meaning of love? Nobody.
At this point, you are at your best, you can live again and smile again and be happy and won’t let that one get in the way of that.
The amount of time of this getting over period is different per person, because one can stop it earlier than the other. When you’re over them, is your choice, don’t get carried away with the depression. About me, am I really over the getting over period? I don’t know yet. I feel good, I’m happy, but am I really confronted with everything yet? No, not yet, but it will come. And I’m ready...:)
