Funny how things all add up, how they come to be
Thought I didn’t want you, thought I’d rather be free
Now it’s the same old dance and song
And it’s gone on way too long
So, if you’re reading this, baby so long
You got the better of me

	I knew you had a way about you
	Still I found a way to doubt you
	Thought that I could live without you
	Now I know I was wrong

Sure, we only had a trailer but it felt like a home
Though, I admit, I sometimes wished I could be alone
Now in some perverse twist, you see,
Them trailer walls are closing in on  me
Got to leave this misery for some address unknown

I was born an old man’s son
Only thing he ever left me was a gun
And now that this is over, baby, all done
I’m glad he give it to me, I’m glad he give it to me

        I knew you had a way about you
	Still I found a way to doubt you
	Thought that I could live without you
	Now I know I was wrong

And out on the wings of nothingness 
I’ll look down and blow you a kiss
Never thought I’d feel like this
