Yay !!!
Well, in the end we didn't get the last thing for the money so we will have to pay. Shit, but hopefully, I got money from the summer camp so it's ok.
But I'm still saying Yay !! coz I received few minutes ago a letter, with all the last papers in it.
The letter of introduction, the international visa, the numbers to call in case of probs (crosses fingers to have not to use them) & some other stuff.
Now, I'm so excited but stressed. I'm still sick & I'm just getting some energy back from the exhausting summer camp. I miss the kids. Moraly I'm not down, I just got the blues. lol
I can't believe it. I'm gonna take the plane for the first time. I'm gonna leave this continent. I'm gonna meet the nicest ppl ever.
Oh, yes, coz I forgot to tell, but everyone who's been to Africa tells that ppl there are so nice despite the poverty. They are way nicer than in rich countries where ppl are cold & don't tell hello to anyone.
I hope this trip will be helpful to some ppl, I really wish I could help a bit.
& meanwhile I hope to help myself not to become the typicstupid egoist westerner!

I'm not done with the site, 2 pages left to make, damn! Plus I wanted to add another one called "Expectation"
I hope, hope, hope the puter will be fixed during the time I get back from the summer camp & before to go to Africa so that I'll have time to finish everything. I really wanna translated to program of the "spiritual" camp in the religious page, & I wanna make this expectation page to compare then when I'll be back.
Everyone keeps telling that I won't be the same when I'll be back, cause in here, we are so used to our little western lives, complaining about the slightest little thing going wrong. When there, it's the real misety & it's a shock.
I hope to become a bit wiser & not so whining when I'll be back, & understand the real aspect of things. I just hope I won't be too bad with ppl around, coz I know I already am bad when I come back from a simple camp around so... we will see.
I think I start becoming a bit scared now, with all of this coming closer & closer.

Expectation...

I've been explained a bit more about this money stuff... that's so great! We actually got the grant we had asked for, & another one we didn't expected coz it's Jere's dad who asked for it without even telling us... but nm coz we got a $500 grant thanks to him.

Then... we are still waiting for a $750 grant & if we have this one, we won't even have anything to pay for the camp.
Coz actually at first, we planned to pay each about $200 because we thought we wouldn't earn enough money. As everyone can guess, it's very annoying since the 3 of us are not what you would call rich & since I particulary get lots of money problems. So, this is a big great surprise! We hope to get this last grant, & we would actually have $300 too much compared to the budget we made (that Raphie made, lol).

With it, we thought about giving more to father Nicolas & to rent a cine-camera(to film) or a numeric camera (to take polaroids).
Here we are... now I hope the big surprise won't be that we haven't this last grant, lol, would mean we would have to pay... let's hope *crosses fingers*

5% not sure coz we never know, if war appears all of sudden, or riots or stuff, we won't be allow to go. :-(

Sooooo, the bad part is that Jere didn't manage to see the priest to ask for the presentation of our project to the parishioners, nor a meeting with the other one to get our spiritual aspect ready.
But nevermind I guess, we will make it later, for now it's just Wooooooooooooo wooooooooooooo !!!
Damn money, it made us worry! Glad we haven't to worry about it anymore now :-D

Effective meeting!
Very very great! Things are clearer now.
We had a meeting, the three of us + Pierre-Jean, our "anirel" which helps us with our project.

So, about money, because it's our main problem... we are just counting very much on subsidies & if we don't get them, hmm, then we will have a BIG problem. So *crosses fingers* & let's hope we will get the $600 from one thing & the $750 from another one.
If we have those subsidies, then we will miss $200 but we plan to sell roses for the Mother's day at the end of the mass. We should be on 4 mass, 2 Saturday & 2 Sunday. Then, we will sell cakes like one month later on a weekend, probably at the end of two mass.
We also have to introduce our project to the parishioners because we are linked to the St Paul church & if we introduce our project to the parishioners, then they'll buy our stuff more easily.

Apart from the money, which is the most worrying part, everything else is doing good. We just gave back the file with all the informations to the group's leader & after he checked it he will send it up "there" in Paris & the people there will decide if we are allowed to go or not.
Jere will also phone to the chaplain of our church. We should have an encounter with him to prepare the religious part of the camp, particularily when we will meet the young people & have a spiritual exchange with them.

The dates of our camp are all set now, & I'll write to Father Nicolas & to the scouts in Niamey (the capital of Niger) to tell them about it all.

That's it! I'm rather happy since everything is going good, & my mom didn't even get upset as usual when I have a meeting with the scouts.

News !
I've been vaccinated like one month ago, against two stuff, & I still have two other vacc to do.
Saturday we're gonna have a meeting with my friends & the couple who helps us to make our project.
& more important, I've build one more page & I feel like I'm gonna do more today since I've nothing else to do (bored since finals are over, lmao)

*Sigh*
I'm kinda upset with their way to do the things at the last minute without warning !!! They KNOW - coz I've told them 1000 times since the beginning of the year - that they must PLAN everything for parental's reason (my mom mainly) & it's like they don't care. Jere acts like he doesn't care at all. Grr, that's upsetting ! They don't care & then I have my mom arguing me. As if I hadn't enough probs without them adding to it. Nvm
I'll have to do the vaccines next week, & I'm sick now. I hope I'll be better coz it's bad to do vaccine when you're not feeling ok.

I'll keep that to keep the track of the evolution of our project.
Today, I'm glad because I just receive an another answer from Father Nicolas (a priest), and he gave us more informations about what to prepare for the camp with the young catholics, & about who we will work with while painting the boarding school, & how to do with the money we have to give to pay a part of the tools & paints.
The communication with him is quite hard since he doesn't have the internet in the village, & he answers only when he comes to the capital city. But little by little the project takes form !
I'm gonna make the page of the site now.

Am I going to use this?
I'm not sure whether I'll finally make a personal site or not, coz it looks so complicated & I'm not sure I have the will to learn. Lol, I'm so lazy, but maybe I'll do it even.
I'll see, coz so far, I can't find out how to make other pages.
