Once in a while, a person is born
To ease pain and suffering, to heal what is torn
They do what they can, and miracles grow
From the effort put forward, when they do what they know
Vets are like little angels, sent from above
To give our pets care, and a big dose of love
You can see in their eyes, the feelings they hold
For the "Dog in the window," to the "Sheep in the fold"
They talk and they touch, in a way we can't see
To their animal patients, to you and to me
They help us to know, how to deal with our pet
A very special person, that is known as "The Vet"
