Okay, I finally have enough poems to start this page. I guess the reason I keep this page going is because I am hoping that one day I or someone whose poems are on this site will one day hit the big time. If not I get pleasure out of knowing that people can actually get some enjoyment out of some of these poems. Well, no more talking here are the links to the poems....


Poem #1 This poem is titled Summer Breeze © Hjörtur Birgisson and was written by a young man from Iceland. He is a terrific poet and he also writes music. He is more in touch with his spiritual side than most of us are and his poetry tends to reflect that. I hope you enjoy his poem as much as I did....


Poem #2 This poem is titled Broken © Moody59 and it was a very well written poem. This author writes from his soul, and it is reflected in his words. Poetry is best written when it comes from inside not just from a pen. This is the type of poem that Moody59 writes... It is from his inner self...


Poem #3 This poem is titledThe Magic of You© Debbie Dixon and is a lovely poem... Very well written and sensual... Enjoy it....


Poem #4 This poem is titledThe Hurt of A Child© Debbie Dixon and takes a frightening look into the soul of a child tormented by a form of abuse... Whether or not it is physical, mental, emotional or sexual, it must stop... Read this poem and try to put yourself in the childs place.... It sent chills through me... Very well written poem Debbie...


Poem #5 This poem is titled, "Out of the mist"© T.J. Daniels... It is a short poem about looking for the love once known... It has on one side of it a kind of darkness, that is what I got out of it... It is well worth reading... Great job T.J.


Poem #6 This poem is titled, "Woman of the mist"© T.J. Daniels... Kind of a follow up to the poem, "Out of the mist", and also lies on the dark side in a very subtle way... Poem #7 This poem is titled, "Papa's Princess"and it is a very chilling look into the terrified world of a survivor of the abuse from a parent. This has got to stop and the only way it can stop is if people open their eyes and realize that it does happen. It has to be talked about, and when the poems are written, they should be read with an understanding of what the person writing is trying to get across, not for the words that are used... Please read and try to see the point and don't say, "This is sick", because the only sick thing is that this happens and no-one wants to let it be talked about... Poem #9 This poem is wrote by a Wonderful person named Laura... Her friends know her as mousie, and it is a poem full of meaning and despair. It is a Beautiful poem in a "Dark" sense of the word. I feel that poetry is best when it is from the soul and the heart. This poem is from her soul. She deals with the feelings in her mind by writing them on paper rather than carrying out the thoughts she may feel. Remember; Only actions not words are the end of Life as you may know it. The name of the poem was originally "untitled" But after reading it and seeing the pain that was lived by writing it I decided that it would be best Titled, "Escape"
