One day long ago, a lizard came to be
A very special lizard, as everyone would see
A little crooked back, and color not as green
As any other lizard, the world had ever seen
His name would be original, as his little frame
A very special lizard, deserves a very special name
Oscar he was called, and his name fit him well
Just by his little name, he was special you could tell
He was not the perfect specimen, to the lizard world
But God created him, and to this earth he was hurled
To get a loving home, and get lots of care and love
Is the only reason, why he was sent down from above
But then his time was over, and he went back home
To be with all the other lizards, in heaven they will roam
There's no need to worry, and no need to cry
If you look up to the heaven, you'll see The Lizard In The Sky
