                                Finding a solution to the blind spot

 

            Most of car accidents are caused by changing lanes. Changing lanes should not be as dangerous as it is. Having a car in the blind spot where the driver can not see is a big problem. I hope to find a way to minimize the size of the blind spot or eliminate it completely.

The detector will automatically warm the driver if there is a car in the blind spot. This piece also has numerous opinions about the device that might help me decide if the device is worth using.

This article shows that SUV’s are more dangerous because of the size of their blind spot. It also has stat figures to the total accidents and deaths caused by the blind spot. I hope to find a way to make SUV’s safer and minimize the blind spot by either using a sensor or a camera.
