I wonder if my motives have been found out
I wonder if she realizes my faces look either way
When I look at her I see my reflection
A doppelganger that's the same
I wonder if my true self shows
She seems to see inside, to find me whole
I wonder if my motives show on the outside
If my face shows the feelings I try to hide
I wonder if my motivations have been divulged
I wonder if she sees me as I am, or how I wish to be
I wonder what she thinks of me
I wonder if she knows she's beautiful
And my four eyes see her the same
I wonder if she knows I love her
I wonder if she knows my name
Keep my faces from combining
Till I know she sees both as one
Till my chrysalis shatters and I emerge
Reborn as a whole, sentient being
Ready to face the world
As one, only one, personality, a whole
I wonder if my motives have been found out

Toward a merging, a meeting of minds
I wonder if my faces seem the same
